定制旅游介绍 — Krabi?

A custom Krabi tour kayaks the Railay hongs at dawn before the longtail boats begin (the cave entrance time window is 2 hours around low tide), rock climbs on the Railay limestone at a grade appropriate to the visitor's experience with a guide certified by the Thai Mountain Guides Association, takes the private longtail to Phra Nang Cave Beach at 7 a.m. before the day boats arrive, and stays on Koh Lanta's west coast for the quietest beach in Krabi accessible by ferry. Railay rewards the early start; Koh Lanta rewards the stay.

Krabi Province is Thailand's most geologically dramatic region — a 4,708 km² province of mainland limestone karst, mangrove-fringed coastline, and 154 islands in the Andaman Sea. The Phang Nga Bay karst formation extends into Krabi's interior, producing the vertical limestone walls of the Khao Phanom Bencha National Park and the sea-level karst of Ao Phang Nga that makes Railay Beach (no road access, surrounded by 400m cliffs) one of the most photogenic beach settings in the world. The province is also the location of Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Seua), with 1,237 steps to a summit Buddha and panoramic karst views.

The marine environment of Krabi's island chain — Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi Don and Leh, the 4 Islands (Koh Muk, Koh Kradan, Koh Ngai, Koh Libong) — varies from the busy Phi Phi tourist circuit to the largely undisturbed marine national parks of the lower Andaman chain where dugongs feed on seagrass and whale sharks pass March–April. Koh Lanta's east coast mangrove is one of the largest in Krabi, and the west coast beach (10km of continuous sand) is the longest beach in southern Thailand.

November through April is the optimal season: clear skies, calm Andaman Sea, and 28°C water. May–October is monsoon: the west coast islands are closed (Phi Phi, Similan) but the east coast of Koh Lanta and the mangrove kayak routes are navigable. Rock climbing on the Railay karst (1,200 established routes from grade 5a to 8b) is the world's most dramatically located climbing destination. Tours start at €2,400 per person.

7天经典线路

  1. 1
1: Arrival & Krabi Town — Night Market
Krabi International Airport or ferry from Phuket. Krabi Town is a working southern Thai fishing and administrative city with a night market on the Chao Fah pier: grilled seafood from the Andaman catch, the satay stalls, and the roti shops that make the southern Thai roti mataba (stuffed flatbread, a Muslim-influenced dish of the southern Thai fishing communities). The mangrove estuaries behind Krabi Town are navigable by kayak at dawn — the cathedral roots of Rhizophora mangroves, the fishing community boats returning, and the monitor lizards that inhabit the mudflat edges.
  2. 2
2: Railay Beach — Phra Nang Cave at 7 a.m.
Longtail boat from Ao Nammao pier (15 minutes) to Railay — a limestone peninsula accessible only by water, enclosed by 400m karst walls on three sides. Arrive at 7 a.m. for the east beach landing and the 10-minute walk to the west beach and Phra Nang Cave before the day boats arrive at 9 a.m. Phra Nang Cave Beach: a shrine in the cave beneath the cliff where the fishing community leaves offerings to the spirit of a drowned princess (the phallic offerings are an ongoing source of visitor confusion — your guide explains the Thai animist fertility tradition). The beach itself is the finest sand in Krabi — white, coral-grain, under a limestone wall.
  3. 3
3: Rock Climbing on Railay Karst
Railay has 1,200 established climbing routes on vertical limestone karst — the world's most beautifully located climbing area. Single-pitch routes from 5a (accessible to first-timers with half-day instruction) to 8b (elite sport climbing). Your THAIMGA-certified climbing guide begins with the Muay Thai Wall (grade 5a–6b, the beginner area) — the technique of reading Krabi limestone (pockets, pinches, and the calcite features that differ from granite climbing) and the abseil descent from the cliff top above the sea. The afternoon: the harder King Climbers Wall routes, or the optional snorkel in the Channel Reef below the cliff.
  4. 4
    4: 4 Islands Tour — Emerald Cave
Private longtail to the 4 Islands: Koh Muk first — the Emerald Cave (Tham Morakot) is a sea cave accessible only by swimming 90m through a tunnel in total darkness (headtorch provided), emerging into an enclosed lagoon with a beach, surrounded on all sides by 100m limestone walls, with a small patch of sky above. No boat can enter — only swimmers. The lagoon is accessible 2 hours either side of low tide; any swell makes the swim dangerous. Your guide assesses conditions and makes the call. Then: Koh Kradan (the clearest water in the 4 Islands chain, coral garden snorkeling) and Koh Ngai for lunch.
  5. 5
5: Tiger Cave Temple & Khao Phanom Bencha
Wat Tham Seua (Tiger Cave Temple) is 8km inland from Krabi Town — 1,237 steps to the summit at 600m, where a large Buddha statue and 360° views of the Krabi karst landscape are the reward. The climb takes 45–60 minutes; the descent 30–40. Do it at 6 a.m. before the heat builds. The monkeys inhabiting the temple complex steal food. Then: Khao Phanom Bencha National Park — the inland karst park above Krabi with a series of waterfalls (Huay To falls, 7 tiers) in primary forest where hornbills and langurs are resident. Your naturalist explains the inland karst formation process.
  6. 6
6: Koh Lanta — West Coast Beach
1.5-hour ferry to Koh Lanta Yai (the main island): the 10km west coast beach (Klong Dao, Phra Ae, and Long Beach) is the longest continuous beach in Krabi province. The south end (Kantiang Bay and Nui Bay) is the quietest and least developed. Koh Lanta's eastern coast is all mangrove — the Khlong Khong mangrove kayak tour navigates through a tunnel of Rhizophora roots with fireflies at dusk. The village of Ban Sala Dan (the main village, with the ferry pier) is a Muslim fishing community — the grilled fish over charcoal at the pier market is available from 5 p.m.
  7. 7
7: Koh Lanta — Dawn Beach & Departure
Last morning: sunrise on the west coast at Kantiang Bay — the longest beach in southern Thailand at dawn, fishermen's boats at anchor, and the Adang Archipelago Islands visible on the horizon. Then: the Lanta Old Town on the east coast, a Sino-Malaysian fishing village of wooden shophouses on stilts above the sea, unchanged since the 19th century and a former administrative center of the Siamese empire. Return ferry to Krabi, Krabi Airport departure.

  8. 8
8: Koh Phi Phi — Dawn Viewpoint & Viking Cave
2-hour speedboat from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi Don. The Phi Phi viewpoint (1-hour scramble from the village to 185m above the twin-bay isthmus) at 6 a.m. — the most photographed view in southern Thailand, empty at dawn. Viking Cave (the shallow cave on the northeast coast where local fishermen harvest swiftlet nests for bird's nest soup, using 15m bamboo poles): the cave walls are covered in charcoal drawings of boats, including Chinese junks, dating to 300–1,000 years ago. Longboat snorkel in the Phi Phi channels.
  9. 9
9: Khao Sok National Park Day Trip
3-hour drive north from Krabi to Khao Sok. Day tour on Cheow Lan Lake by longtail: the limestone karst towers above the reservoir, the gibbon calls from the canopy, and the floating raft house lunch. The lake was created by a 1982 dam — the flooded forest is visible at the water's edge. Day visitors access the lake without overnight; an overnight provides the dawn experience the day trip misses.
  10. 10
10: Koh Lanta Marine Park — Whale Shark (March–April)
March–April: the Koh Haa (5 Islands) marine park south of Koh Lanta is a whale shark transit zone — juvenile and adult whale sharks follow the warm Andaman current through the channel. Private speedboat to the whale shark area with a marine biologist, surface snorkel alongside individuals that arrive without notice and depart equally suddenly. The same Koh Haa sites also have the best deep-water coral of the Lanta archipelago.
  11. 11
11: Krabi Mangrove Kayak at Dawn
Dawn kayak in the Ao Thalane mangrove (the largest mangrove estuary in Krabi, protected by the Klong Thom district conservation area): the kayak trail through Rhizophora root tunnels, the resident otterfisher kingfishers, and the brahmin kites that hunt the mangrove mudflats at low tide. The estuary at dawn before the water level drops — the kayak floats through tunnels that are impassable at low tide.
  12. 12
12: Hot Springs & Blue Pool (Emerald Pool)
Inland Krabi: the Khlong Thom Hot Springs (natural thermal pools in a forested stream — the stream narrows into natural rock pools at 38–40°C, then cools in the wider sections) and the Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot): a natural hot spring where the thermal water surfaces through white sand, creating a turquoise pool at 35°C. The color is caused by dissolved minerals. The pool has a 2-hour morning window before the tour buses arrive.
  13. 13
13: Kayak Camping — Overnight in the Hongs
A 2-day kayak camping trip in the Ao Phang Nga hongs (the sea caves and enclosed lagoons of the bay accessible only at low tide and by kayak). Overnight on a private beach inside a hong — the tour operator brings tents, food, and safety equipment. The hongs at night, with bioluminescent plankton triggered by paddle strokes and the walls of limestone closing out the sky, is the most private experience in Krabi. Available November–April only (weather and tide dependent).
  14. 14
14: Final Morning Railay & Departure
Last longtail to Railay at 7 a.m. one final time: the east beach, the cave, and the west beach in the first light before any other boats. Then: return to Krabi Town for the morning market (the best southern Thai breakfast: khao tom (rice porridge with fish), kanom jeen (rice noodles with fish curry), and the roti canai with condensed milk at the Muslim breakfast stall). Krabi Airport.

常见问题

Is rock climbing at Railay worth trying as a beginner?+

Yes — Railay has some of the best beginner climbing in the world. The Muay Thai Wall (grade 5a–6b) has 30+ single-pitch routes accessible to first-timers with a half-day introduction. The quality of THAIMGA-certified guides in Railay is high — the most experienced have been working these routes for 20 years and can teach anyone with basic coordination to top a 5b route in a half-day. The setting (limestone karst above the Andaman Sea) is the world's most spectacular for a first climbing experience. Full-day programs for beginners include technique instruction on the ground, beginner routes, and a sunset abseil from the cliff top.

What is the best time to visit Railay Beach?+

November–April (dry season) for the beach: calm Andaman Sea, clear water, and no rain. The rock climbing is best in the cooler months (December–February) when the humidity is lower and the rock is dry. The Phra Nang Cave Beach is best between 7–9 a.m. before the day boats arrive — 40 longtail boats unload visitors between 9 a.m. and noon. May–October: the west beach closes due to swell, but the east beach and the climbing remain accessible on calm days.

Is the Emerald Cave (Tham Morakot) on Koh Muk dangerous?+

The cave swim is not dangerous in calm conditions — 90m of swimming in total darkness with a headtorch, the water typically waist-deep, emerging into an enclosed lagoon. The danger is the entrance swell: any swell above 0.5m makes the cave entrance a surge zone that can throw a swimmer against the cave walls. The guide's assessment of conditions is critical — an experienced guide will refuse entry when conditions are borderline, not just when they're clearly dangerous. A private longtail with an experienced local guide is safer than a group tour where commercial pressure can override safety judgment.

What is the difference between Krabi and Phuket?+

Phuket is an island with extensive resort infrastructure, Patong's nightlife district, and the gateway to the Similan Islands. Krabi is a mainland province (with offshore islands including Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi) with a more rugged landscape (the inland karst), fewer mass-tourism facilities, and the better climbing. Krabi's beaches (Railay, Phra Nang) are more dramatic. Phuket's beaches (Nai Harn, Surin, Bang Tao) are wider and have better hotel infrastructure. The two destinations are connected by 2-hour ferry or 1-hour speedboat — a combined 10-day itinerary is the most common structure.

What is Koh Lanta like compared to other Krabi islands?+

Koh Lanta is the quietest of the main Krabi islands — longer than Koh Phi Phi (10km west coast beach), with a Muslim fishing community rather than a party culture. The west coast beaches are good but not exceptional; the south (Kantiang Bay) is the best. The east coast is all mangrove — the kayak tour is among the best in southern Thailand. Koh Lanta is for people who want a base with less tourist density, longer beaches, and the option of day trips to the Koh Haa marine park and the Mergui Archipelago. The Lanta Old Town is worth half a day: wooden stilted shophouses from the 19th century that were the original administrative center of the south Andaman coast.
